CALGARY, AB, September 2, 2014 – Looking for a day of fun for the whole family? Look no further than ATB Financial Family Day at the Calgary Home + Design Show, taking place Friday, September 19, 2014 from 12PM to 5PM. With kid-friendly activities like a dog walk benefitting the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS), meet-and-greets with adoptable pooches, kid-centric crafts from 4Cats Arts Studio and interactive cooking presentations, this is one family affair that’s not to be missed.
According to show manager Teri Salazar, Family Day is one of the most anticipated features at the Calgary Home + Design Show.
“As a parent, I know what it’s like to constantly be searching for activities to keep kids and adults entertained,” explained Salazar. “ATB Financial Family Day strikes a great balance between offering design ideas and inspiration to parents, while allowing the kids to have a ton of fun. Free admission for every child under 12 doesn’t hurt, either!”
Scheduled presentations for the day include:
Trail Appliances Main Stage:
- Alberta Animal Rescue Society (AARCS): Dog Walk, 2PM
- Leigh-Ann Allaire Perrault: Freshen Up Your Home for Fall, 3PM
The Trail Appliances Cooking Stage:
